A Fyrinnae A Day: Queer Theory Lip Lustre Swatches & Review

Purchased by me

Hey lovelies,

I have another super pretty Lip Lustre from Fyrinnae to show you today!

All of the Lip Lustres I bought are in the trial size, which is 1.5g and contains enough for a few applications. This is a great way to try a colour before committing to a full-size tube, especially since you can't see this product in a store before purchasing (Fyrinnae is only sold through their website). I love that the applicator is still a regular sized doefoot one, so it's very easy to apply.

Fyrinnae's description:

Very bright warm pink without shimmer. May stain temporarily.

A Fyrinnae A Day: Queer Theory Lip Lustre Swatches & Review

Queer Theory reads as a vibrant coral (rather than a warm pink) to me, which is right up my alley! It has a satin finish which lasts very well - it never went fully matte on me. When I wore it, Queer Theory lasted for 4 1/2 hours before wearing away with food. It survived lots of slobbery kisses from Noel in the interim - 2-year-olds give the best kisses, lol. I noticed Queer Theory became mildly drying after 4 hours, but not so much so that I was clamouring for lip balm. After wearing away, there was a faint pink stain.

What I liked:
  • Fantastic colour pay off, great lasting power
  • Great price - 1.5ml trial size (shown here) is $2.00USD, full size tube is $7.00USD.
  • Seriously though, that coral *dies*
What I didn't like:
  • Mildly drying after four hours.
Where to buy:
